Guns down and Knives down Only way to stop killings

Commenting on the deaths of Krystal Hart and Paul Erhahon, President of the Liberal Democrats and London MP Simon Hughes said:

"These two further holiday tragedies are the most horrible reminder that it is criminal actions which take lives and laws alone cannot save them.

"Families, friends and individuals themselves have to realise that in the end using violence will only make things worse and makes one day's attacker much more likely to be the next day's victim.

"All parents and all community leaders across London and the rest of the country have to get the message out over and over again - guns down and knives down are the only ways to stop these sorts of killings."
