THE WAVE rally and march Saturday 5th December 11.15-3.00

Simon Hughes will be at the head of the Liberal Democrat presence at The Wave on December 5th. The Wave is part of a series of events being organised in the run-up to the UN climate summit in Copenhagen to encourage the UK government to take a leading role and agree on a treaty that safeguards our climate for the future.
Liberal Democrats attending the rally will be assemble at Upper Brooke Street at 11.15. Simon will be speaking alongside Nick Clegg and Susan Kramer at 11.30. There will then be a march to Westminster leaving at 1pm, culminating in a wave around parliament.
Simon would like to encourage everyone to come on the march and remind our leaders that the country is watching.
Liberal Democrats have been campaigning for a deal with strong and binding targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide generous funds to mitigate climate change. Our leaders must not be allowed to forget these aims and their responsibility to protect the planet whilst it is still possible. Come and join Simon and the Liberal Democrats at The Wave on Saturday and help make a difference.
