Commenting on the latest fatal shooting of a teenager, Liberal Democrat Shadow Attorney General and south London MP, Simon Hughes MP said:
"Today's third teenage death in two weeks is an unnecessary and avoidable tragedy that is terrible for the families and communities concerned.
"It's time that the young people of south London as well as their elders said enough is enough.
"Whatever the provocations, whatever the temptation, and whatever the anger using knives or guns solves nothing, increases fear and breaks down communities.
"Now is the time for all people across south London to work with the police to get out the message that weapons are not cool and can often be fatal.
"In everybody's name, enough is enough."
